Our new Tinted Desert Dust is a weightless powder for fine, limp hair in need of a lift—it absorbs oil and moisture, and adds volume to second-day hair with a chalky grip that creates hold and texture at the roots without buildup.
To formulate a tinted version of Desert Dust, we chose Rhassoul clay for its natural brownish color that blends with the arrowroot to dissapear into the hair and scalp, creating hold while absorbing any smells and moisture. The word “Rhassoul” is based on an Arabic word that means “to wash,” and indeed, this magnesium-rich clay has long been important as a cosmetic ingredient.
Perfect for hair that wilts under heavy products, Desert Dust also extends the life of blowouts and hair styles. Can be combined with our Texture Mist for increased styling hold.
For those who used to use Root Grip, we combined the Root Grip formula with Desert Dust to make this new tinted version, so two products became one better product!
TO USE: Apply to roots of dry hair or body. Gently massage to distribute.
