To formulate a tinted version of Desert Dust, we chose Rhassoul clay for its natural brownish color that blends with the arrowroot to dissapear into the hair and scalp, creating hold while absorbing any smells and moisture. The word “Rhassoul” is based on an Arabic word that means “to wash,” and indeed, this magnesium-rich clay has long been important as a cosmetic cleansing ingredient.
Perfect for hair that wilts under heavy products, Desert Dust also extends the life of blowouts and creates volume in hair styles. Can be combined with our Texture Mist for increased styling hold at the root.
For those who used to use Root Grip, we combined the Root Grip formula with Desert Dust to make this new tinted version, so two products became one better product!
TO USE: Apply to roots of dry hair. Gently massage to distribute.
